Dentistry research & coursework theses

The Faculty of Dentistry has digitised 738 theses once stored on the 7th floor of the Sydney Dental Hospital. These will be progressively loaded onto the Sydney eScholarship Repository. Currently there are 273 coursework and 24 research theses in the Dentistry repository. Newly submitted cousework theses will be added simultaneously.

The Faculty is currently considering a proposal to revise the Resolutions for some of its postgraduate degrees so candidates will only submit electronic versions of their final approved theses. This will not affect the current requirement for hard copies of research theses which are kept in Fisher Library's Rare Books & Special Collections.

The Web site is now fully integrated with a powerful content and digital asset management system to host resources online. Through major enhancements, the new MedEdPORTAL site provides you with the ease of downloading resources directly from the Web site; allowing 90 percent of MedEdPORTAL’s 1,300 publications to be available for download or by directly linking to external Web sites. Copyright issues are addressed during the submission process so users can download these resources without legal infringements.
